Fuzzy Head

Share with friends on: Facebook - Twitter
My head is somewhat fuzzy on this Monday morning, probably because it IS a Monday morning. I'll roll with that reason, accurate or not. I'm on coffee #2 and the haze hasn't begun to lift. The air here in the office is resonating its typical mustiness, and the smell of Purell is already wafting through the air. Earlier today, I offhandedly wondered if the execs at Gojo Industries are enjoying H1N1 parties in celebration of their unfounded sales numbers. Seeing as that's rather morbid, I'm hoping not.

Mood today: Hopefully changeable.

You know, if you replace the "1"s in "H1N1" with "I"s you could pronounce it "heiney". I think that's what we should call it. The HINI or "Heiney Flu". It rolls more easily off the tongue. And "heiney" rhymes with "swiney" so it still sort of makes sense. And "HINI" still sort of looks like "H1N1" in print. And then we don't have to worry anymore about offending the Mexicans by people wanting to call it Mexican Flu. The only people we may offend are Heineken drinkers. And maybe some WWI vets, but I doubt there are many of those left. Did they use that term in WWII? But I digress...

I like that idea. It gives me warm fuzzies :)

Then we could smack that HINI flu right out of existence!
